      Protect your knees and back with the Dansko Professional Men’s Black Box Leather Shoes. Proper alignment and cushion is essential when walking or standing for long periods of time, and this men’s work shoe from Dansko’s Professional line provides just that. The heat and cold resistant rocker-bottom outsole has a 1 ¾” heel to absorb shock, and is appropriately padded to provide optimum comfort.

          I'm still getting used to them. The arch support is great. It does take a bit of getting used to the looseness and movement you experience in a clog, but after awhile, you hardly notice. Comfortable! The instep seems like it might be a bit tight for some but they fit me well and I wear medium width normally.

          Comfortable at first. Definitely support the arches. But sort of hot on the feet after 3 hrs working . And they rubbed a blister on the side of my left foot

          Pity those too self-conscious to wear this shoe. The look may strike some as odd, but to the open-minded the lines, bulk-points, and craftsmanship on this shoe can be visually appealing. Regardless, the feel should overcome any qualms you may have with the appearance. If I had to exist wearing just one shoe for the rest of my life, this would be the very easy choice. Simply incredible - kind of like a constant low-intensity, work-out/strengthening of your legs. Comfortable and supportive yet surprisingly invigorating. Order 1/2 size above your usual.

          i wear these shoes when i am on my feet for long periods of time (standing and short walks). it does take time to get used to them since these were my first pair of Dansko. they are slightly on the heavy side and bulky. after many years of discomfort and aches, the arch of my feet are no in pain. this is the part i love the most.

          I wear the shoes for 12 hour work days (3 times a week) which most is spent standing and walking. They work out my shins and correct my posture by forcing me to stand erect. They take about 1-3 weeks to break in but with daily wear, time would probably be shortened. Easy slip on/off for medical field workers who do not want to carry any bacteria or viruses into their homes by wearing their shoes inside.
