For the greatest comfort, we recommend wearing your new Vionic with Orthaheel Technology footwear or orthotics for just a few hours for the first few days to allow your feet to adjust to the new level of orthotic comfort and support. Vionic Judith as compared to old Orthaheel Arcadia
    • PROS
Comfortable & flat sole Pretty velvet look
    • CONS
      Material is not durable
    • BEST USES
      Everyday shoe!

I have worn the old discontinued Arcadia for a few years as my everyday, all day, shoes, and I have been searching for a new style. This looked like it would be the one. Sizing -- for myself, I needed to go up one full size (9 to 10) to make this one work, and it is narrower across the vamp than the Arcadia. The shoes are comfortable with the provided Vionic insole, but I put my own orthotic in place (which I always did with the Arcadia, too)... then the shoe has some wrinkled up material exposed rubbing my small toes. I hope that a shoe repair can reach inside and cut it down. I'm hoping these will be as comfortable as the Arcadia; time will tell! As with the Arcadia, I believe that the material will not be very durable, but I very much like the suedy, velvety look!

Very pretty shoes, but they hurt across the tops of my feet. I ended up having to return them, which I've never had to do with a pair of Vionics.

The shoes runs a half size small just as you stated. The cross straps are too long in this shoe plus on other types of Vionic's that I have ordered, however, a shoe repair shop just shortens the straps and they are perfect. Wear the shoes around the house before going out because what I thought fit did not. If you get the arch in the fitted to the arch of your foot - it's heaven. I own 8 pairs and only wear Vionic shoes. They are great for back problems.

I am so excited about my purchase for the Vionic Judith. I just received my shoes and I love the way they look and feel. It feels like a classic mary jane without the classic foot pain. Vionic is by far the best for arch support. These shoes are extremely versatile and go with almost any outfit. I love the adjustable strap because I like to be able to control how I would like them to feel. The most unique part of this shoe is the leather upper which is stitched directly into the sole, providing the most support possible. I am very tempted to go out and pick up a couple of more colors in the same shoe. I highly recommend this brand and style. Please keep in mind that these run a little small. I would purchase a half-size larger than normal for the absolute most perfect fit.
