    Walking more upright not only looks better but automatically makes us healthier and stronger. The back and joints are strengthened, circulation is increased and breathing is more efficient. mBT lengthens and strengthens the whole body while standing, walking or in gentle running.

    The function of mBT is similar to that of balancing a ball under the foot.

    Increased input-response makes it easier for the musculature to react adequately. After ground contact there is a rolling movement, starting from a negative heel position (1). This creates a pre-stretch of the calf muscles. The straightening of the body, the balancing on the mid-foot (2) and the pull-through of the step to the back (3) initiates a rotation, which follows through the whole body. MBT shoes are very good and comfortable to wear esp. if you work on a job that involves walking and standing. The only thing is you have to order one size bigger than your normal size....so it saves you time in returning and getting the right size, at least this is what happened to me. I highly recommend this product to people that are always active and loves to walk and run, this is the best shoes for that purpose.

These shoes are my first pair of MBT but they will not be my last! I have severe degenerative disk disease which comes with a lot of back pain.I ordered these shoes as a last effort to try and find something that lets me carry on doing normal daily activities like running around after a 5 year old and walking my dog. I was suprised after putting these on and I have pretty much only taken them off to sleep since! It took a minute to get used to walking in them but they are the best thing I have found. I can stand and walk for hours in these and that is HUGE! BUY THE SHOES!

This is my second pair of MBT's and they won't be the last. They really help ease pains in my knees and back. And they really do work the muscles in your legs. I can wear them all day for all activities but I do have to be careful going up and down stairs.
The MBT Casual fits my foot pretty well. I have a narrow heel and a wider forefoot so I need a shoe that has a roomy toebox like these. The heel does slip slightly but tighter lacing seems to help.
I think I have "spreadfoot" so I still have to put inserts in my MBT's to help that problem.

Price was much better on Footwear than I could find elsewhere. Although these shoes are heavier than I would have expected, I do enjoy wearing them and feel as though I am toning muscles when i do. Only thing I would advise is: they seem to be true to size to me. I read review or warning that said I should buy them 1/2 size bigger, so I did, and the shoes are a bit too big. I should have ordered my real size.

Thank God for MBT's! This is my 4th pair (4 different styles) and they all do the trick in alleviating pain from Morton's neuroma on the left foot. Were it not for these shoes/sandals, there are days when mere walking would be difficult. With MBT, I not only walk comfortably, but I'm also doing 4 miles on the treadmill at a good clip and sometimes at a good incline too. Bravo MBT

Afer going through several pairs of black shoes for work, I heard from a friend how great the MBTs are. Once I received them and tried them on, I did wear them around the house for a few hours to get used to them. They are rounded and can make you feel like you are "rolling" and not walking...not necessarily a bad thing! I have noticed at the end of each day, my legs feel toned but not painful. When wearing them, I feel as if I am naturally standing up straight. My feet sometimes still feel a little sore. However, after a few weeks, I feel I am still getting used to them. The Black Nubucks are perfect for work. They blend right in. They are dressy enough for black pants, but you can still wear them with a pair of jeans. Although pricey, I would recommend these shoes for anyone...from someone who walks a lot to the busy worker such as myself - who is on her feet all day!

MBT promises some relieft for pain in joints/back/knees/feet. My podiatrist recommended I wear these at work as I'm on my feet all day and that was interfering with marathon training. The MBT shoes is really the shoes for all ages.I have a very bad back and when my sister told me about the shoes I ordered it right away.I feel that this is the answer to some of my dilemma. I was very pleased with these MBT shoes. The footwear etc. price was excellent;[$].You have to get used to wearing MBT shoes, because they make you walk in a slightly different way that is better for your legs, feet and back. I started off only wearing them for short trips to the grocery store, or on my way to work, but I now wear them comfortably for longer periods of time and my feet are a lot less tired at the end of the day.I recommend the all-black model that I bought because when worn with trousers (esp. boot-cut ones), the funny shape of the shoe is a little less noticeable. The athletic version definitely looks odd compared to a regular sneaker.

I had corrective foot surgery for bunions and hammertoes in 2008. My phys. therapist recommended MBT's for my gait. I got a pair of sandals which I love! I am still assessing closed shoes, however, since it is my toes that tend to cause troubles when in a closed shoe. I got the M-Walk and they are mostly fine. Any problems again, however, are due to my particular foot/toe idiosyncracies. I am still trying out the Casual Nubucks at home to determine if the toe box will work well for me. Certainly the shoe is "adorable" and I really do want to keep it, but comfort will be the ultimate deciding factor.

I am impressed. For over a month my ankle has been bothering me. Two days wearing these and poof it was gone. I wsn't to happy with the style but I don't see how much you can do with the odd shape. They did a good job trying to "cover up" the issues. They are expensive and for a family of 5 (3 of those kids under 6) I had to stress the need to my husband. I think he is convced to get a pair for the summer. For myself I would not have orderd the 1/2 size up. I have a normal to narrow foot to take that into consideration. They feel to big but I can wear thicker socks with them. I am also flat footed so I don't know if that makes a difference. I can not wear my arch supports with these shoes. It puts a to tight fight on the top of the foot. Maybe a different style would work better. I think I should have gone with sandles first and then with "shoes". I enjoy them, but the style isn't the best for me.

This is my third pair. Sandals for summer, some athletic looking ones, and these for casual but not jeans and shorts wear. They run a full size small, but once you get the right size you will love them. I love these shoes. They are so comfortable and go with so many outfits. I have diabetes and plantar faciatis, so I've been looking for casual shoes that would help my feet. I have two pairs of these because I wear them constantly. At work I change into something more dressy for important meetings, but mostly I wear these. They have eased my chronic back pain to the point that I am way more active than I had been. MBT warns of a period of getting used to them. That lasted about an hour for me. They also warn that these run small so you need to order a size larger which I did. Those fit perfectly. I have very wide feet and these adapt to that very nicely.

I have Hallux Rigidus, which is a bone spur on the knuckle of my big toe. It had gotten to the point where I could hardly walk without being in pain. After reading up about Hallux Rigidus on the internet, I found an article that said MBT shoes would be a great help with this problem. I order the black Nubuck online, mainly because they were on sale [$]. They are well worth the money. I can finally go shopping and canspend hours on my feet with no pain. I give thispair of shoes an A+. The only thing is they dorun small and I had to send back the first pair and reorder a 1/2 size larger, but with free shipping both ways and the excellent service, it was no problem doing so. A friend who has similar back problems said MBT shoes really helped her and brought over a pair for me to try. After 3 days, I ordered my own. I have experienced some back improvement, so ordered a pair of Mary Janes also. Comfortable from the 1st day - no break-in. I find I no longer want to wear my regular shoes! This style is good for winter - would be too hot for summer -so I plan to order a pair of sandals, too. Order 1/2 to one size up.

These are great for standing and walking long periods - I use for ushering in church. There was less stress on my knees. I had been looking at them for over a year. Extremely comfortable the 1st time I wore them and my break-in time was only 2 days. I'll be buying several pair.

Although MBTs are not the most fashionable, they are the best shoe for me. I have suffered a shattered ankle and have been struggling for years with serious arthritis trying to wait as long as possible for a fusion. Since I've found these shoes I am able to be active for longer periods of time before the disabling pain/swelling sets in. I would recommend these shoes to anyone with ankle arthritis problems.

I work in a manufacturing environment, standing and walking on cement. Over the years an old knee injury has been acting up leaving me unable to do my usual rounds without discomfort. My MBT Nubuck's have completely eliminated that knee pain and even after work I can continue to walk and enjoy my life.

This shoe is one of the best shoes that I own. I
have had four pair so far. They have helped to
releive my severe plantar faciitis(sp). I had spend several hunderds of dollars at the foot doctor, with little or no relief. Can't say

I wear these on my daily walks and i can feel the mbt style working on my ab and leg muscles, which feels really good. i have only worn them to work a couple of times b/c they do look clunky- which is cute with jeans, and not my work clothes. i ordered my regular size, and did not need to size up on these, as they are a bit wider than some other mbt styles. lastly, seems like they're also waterproof- i walked miles in a downpour with dry feet at the end.
