      Product Description

Even small differences in leg length, whether real or caused by wearing an orthopedic boot, can mean major pain!
The Evenup was developed by foot and ankle specialists that saw the need for a simple, effective way to help patients suffering from hip and back pain while recovering from an injury or surgery in an orthopedic boot or wound healing shoe.

      EvenUp Foot Leveler Shoelift Device

The Evenup™ does not correspond to shoe size. Instead the measurement of the sole of the shoe is used to determine the appropriate size of Evenup™. See image below for the proper measurement technique.

      A sole measurement between 10 inches (254 mm) and 11 1/4 inches (286 mm) use a SMALL
      A sole measurement between 11 ½ inches (292 mm) and 12 ¾ inches (324 mm) use a MEDIUM
      A sole measurement between 13 inches (330 mm) and 14 ½ inches (368 mm) use a LARGE

Note: It is generally best to choose an Evenup™ a little too small rather than a little too big.

Pegs in the top layer of the Evenup™ sole fit into the holes in the bottom layer. The single layer bottom is 1.3 cm thick. By adding the top sole the Evenup™ adds 2.1 cm in height.

This thing is a life saver, if I could give it 10 stars I would! 3 days into a 3 week recuperation in a boot I was already so sore in my opposite leg/hip. I ordered this and within minutes of putting it on I already felt the improvement in my gait and comfort. Fits as described, is very secure and light on my shoe, you don't even know it's there. Feels well made and sturdy. Don't wait to order it, get it as soon as you know you need a boot. Pay for overnight delivery if you have to, you will not want to go even a day without it once you've tried it.

You could rig together something that works much better for a tiny fraction of the cost. The foam pads don't elevate your foot very much (not enough to match up with my AirCast, anyway), and once you've strapped the Evenup onto your shoe, it's not very easy to walk with that shoe. It doesn't stay on my sneaker very well at all. $40 is a lot of money for a couple pieces of cheap foam and a cheap rubber ring that doesn't keep things properly in place. I'm using a small women's Evenup (rated for sizes 5 - 8.5) on size 7 sneakers, so I'm right in the middle of the Evenup size, and thus shouldn't be having any problems.
