Finally, a shoe that helps me stand up straight and doesn't tire my feet. I have flat feet and this arch feels so good. This is my second pair and I will get another one when I have worn these out.

    AMAZING SHOES...LOVE THEM!!!!
    • Rating:

    • Comments:

These shoes are by far the best pair of athletic shoes I have owned! They accommodate my wide feet, and they are incredibly supportive. I usually pronate inward and need to wear custom orthotics or Superfeet, and I do not need any insert in this shoe. The rocker sole is amazingly comfortable and stable, and it is allowing me to walk again. After tearing the plantar plate in my foot, I was in a boot/removable cast for 5 weeks, and I was not supposed to walk distance. These shoes have given me back my life and freedom to walk for exercise again!! Because I cannot "toe off" without pain, the rocker sole allows me to walk in normal shoes and not have to wear the boot any longer. Also, I have had years of plantar fasciitis with horrible pain when walking. I feel no pain when wearing the Sport 2 shoes...truly amazing!! I usually wear an 8 1/2 wide in an athletic shoe, but I ordered a size 9 in this shoe, and it fits great with a thumb's width of space at the toe. The toe box is nice and wide, as well, which is an added benefit that my toes are not cramped, and thus the plantar plate tear in my foot is not being aggravated. So far I have purchased two pairs of these shoes, and I will purchase more to have on hand for the future. When ordering this shoe, I would recommend adding only 1/2 size for length, but do not add any sizing for width. The width is generously accommodated for already. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SHOES!!!

About 5 months ago, I discovered how great MBT shoes made me feel, so I bought 5 different styles. The original Sport was my favorite of all. Was finding excuses to wear them all the time, so when Sport 2 went on sale, I bought that, too. The newer model is even more comfortable than the original Sport, feels like it has more padding. Comparing the two models side by side, the soles are identical, yet when worn, the Sport 2 seems to rock more, which I like. I wear a 5 wide shoe and size 6 in this style fits perfectly. I only wish the other MBT styles came as wide as the Sport and Sport 2. Love, love, love them! I can barely stand to wear my Danskos since I discovered how MBT eliminated all discomfort by allowing me to take all weight off the base of my big toe.

This is the 3rd pair of MBT's I have bought. Best shoe I have EVER owned. I like the thick sole on them the most. Even though I wear the newest shoes, the old ones are still in great shape. The soles do flatten out a little more with time. I like to lace and tie my shoes tight, because I have a narrow foot and you can only buy these shoes in medium width. This particular Sport 2 shoe, squeak's while I walk though. The leather rubs on top. My other pairs I have purchases have the better shoe eyes on them so this doesn't happen. Other than that, it still is a great shoe and will be in the market for another pair, in a couple of years when these ones "flatten" out with time.

    MBT relieves PLANTAR FASCIITIS pain
    • Rating:

I have WIDE FEET, a big toe with pain from recurring INGROWN ISSUES, a BONE SPUR due to PLANTAR FASCIITIS and a vacation starting tonight. My plantar fasciitis has recently showed its painful face just before our vacation. In a panic, I ordered this shoe in a 9.5 from Zappos since they did not have it in a 10. If my feet had none of those issues I would need a 9.5. However, I had never owned a pair of MBT's and had no idea if the width would fit me and I knew I would need plenty of room in the TOE BOX to avoid pain and more damage. Sure enough the 9.5 was too small. Well, I decide to order the size 10 yesterday from footwearetc.com. I called and spoke with Donald who guaranteed that the shoes would make it all the way from California to New York by tonight. I received them this morning at 10:30am (less than 24 hrs) and they are a perfect fit with no pressure on my toes, bone spur and plantar fasciitis. I am now looking forward to beginning my vacation tonight with no anxiety. I also want to mention, I have done lots of research on shoes and sandals in regards to PLANTAR FASCIITIS. This is the ticket. I will be buying MBT sandals someday too. I also purchased FITFLOP sandals and have been wearing them for 3 entire days in my home and this morning was the first day in a long time that I got out of bed without heel pain. I definitely recommend both these brands for this condition. I am putting all caps on somethings here to help those searching for solutions. I am not associated with any of these companies. I really want to help others with their feet issues like others helped me by leaving comments. All the best.

I got these because I wanted to begin walking again (with the hope of taking weight off). They felt a bit heavy when I took them out of the box, but as soon as I got them on, they felt as light as any athletic shoe I have ever owned. I immediately did a 15 minute walk to begin the break in process. I am now over 2 miles, and going strong. There were no issues with balance, pronation or rubbing (I wear a light weight ankle sock). I plan on ordering one of the Mary Jane models to wear all day at school, because I have no foot pain with these shoes, which is normally constant. I can feel the muscle burn, but that is also what I wanted. WIN WIN with these!
