MBT Women's Nama

I have had inflammation in the joint between the toes and the ball of my foot. It hurt to walk, so my foot doctor sent me to a shoe store to try Clarks, or some kind of specialized shoe. The clerk gave me a pair of MBT sandals (I'd never heard of them) to try on. When I got up to walk to the mirror, I was amazed because there was NO pain in my foot! I wanted to walk around in them all day. Couldn't buy them because I am a retired lady, and the price was more than I could afford. I found Footwear, etc and have been happily buying MBT's when they go on sale. They are well built, comfortable and allow me to walk for miles with no discomfort. This pair, NAMA, I bought for the same reason as the last reviewer. I wanted something attractive to wear in the winter, other than my MBT tennies. They fit perfectly and I could use them all day the first day. I did have to order them in one size larger than my regular shoe size (which I don't wear anymore). Sketchers do not compare to MBT's.

I have to wear comfort shoes due to multiple foot issues. No pair is 100% perfect, but MBTs are the best. I wear these particiular shoes to work when I want something sharper looking than the sneaker-type shoes (MBT or other) or boxy shoes that I have to wear. They are gorgeous and, in fact, I always refer to them as my Michael Jackson shoes because they look like something I think he would have worn. My feet feel supported very well by these and other MBTs. I can't afford MBTs or other top quality comfort shoes so I get them rarely, treat them well and won't subject them to inclement weather so I canno attest to their endurance in wet weather. Even so, they have had plenty of use and have held up nicely and the patent portions are still gorgeous and show no signs of cracking. I love them. I really do.

I bought the MBT's because I knew they were probably better in quality than the Skecher Shape-ups that everyone has. The shoes are great and you can really feel the difference once you put them on! I felt my posture improve and you do feel more of the toning when you walk. My only complaint is that this model runs a little small. I originally tried on the Maliza model which fits true to size. However, I liked the look of the Nama and bought them instead. Got blisters on the back of both my heels after 30 minutes of walking and the velcro doesn't allow too much room to loosen the fit the way laces do. And of course, no refunds on worn shoes. I'm hoping they stretch a bit and will become more comfortable because I do love the muscle toning the shoes provide. Would recommend MBT's - but maybe a different model!

My feet have problems. The front part of my feet are spread out while the back half and heel are narrow. I also have hammertoes and pains in my arches. These are very comfortable MBT shoes. I have only been able to wear the big MBT sandal that I can adjust in all 3 strapped areas (ankle, toe, and heel). The Nama shoe does not have quite the big "rocking" sole area as other MBTs; but, the "rocking" sole area still is enough to feel good while not being quite so rounded. . The 3 straps on top help to adjust for fit (great for narrow feet while also providing width where needed). The shoe is also good looking. I would buy another pair in black if they were on sale. I wanted to buy a pair of these earlier but could not afford at the full price.
