Mephisto Women's Bayka Black Suede - The Mephisto Women's Black Suede Bayka looks a little like an Irish dancing shoe, but its true intent is to keep the feet of busy women comfortable at all times. The shoe also looks a little like a ballet flat, with a rounded toe and sleek profile. Despite its dainty appearance, the Mephisto Bayka is surprisingly sturdy. Its natural caoutchouc rubber outsole stands up to heavy use, as does the black suede upper. The other distinguishing feature of the Bayka is a series of criss-cross elastic straps. It is the inclusion of these straps that makes the shoe look similar to that of an Irish dancer.  With plenty of cushioning in the footbed, the Black Suede Bayka is also every bit as comfortable as a dance slipper. A soft leather lining over the footbed adds an extra level of comfort. Finally, the flexible rubber sole makes it easy to walk around in the Bayka without getting sore feet.
