Layered under the midsole is a flexible outsole made from caoutchouc rubber. This outsole contains a specially built shock absorber heel to minimize the jarring effects of walking in sandals. A strap behind the ankle also helps to keep the foot in a healthy position. The upper straps are made from rich nubuck with a platinum sheen. They can easily be adjusted and held in place with a hooked enclosure. The final effect is a shoe that is both beautiful and practical.
