      I purchased these sandals a few days before a two-week trip to Paris. I'd been searching for sandals that were stylish and cool for hot-weather travel, and bought these sight-unseen at someone else's recommendation. They proved to be fantastic for the trip - cool, hip, comfortable for long days of walking, and easy to wear even without breaking them in beforehand. My only complaint is that the strap chafed a bit on the top of my foot, but only after hours of walking in hot weather.
