The Adua's unique upper is made from premium anthracite leather and adorned with three matching embellishments. Two main straps cross the near the toes and at the ankle, while a third connects these straps together.  Mephisto Shoes put just as much attention into the Adua's midsole and outsole as they put into the sandal's upper. The sandal's footbed is made from cork and latex, two materials that effectively contour to the unique shape of a woman's foot. A suede lining over the footbed adds an extra level of comfort. The outsole is constructed from caouthchouc rubber, a material that is both durable and flexible. Shock absorbers are included in the heels of the sandals to protect the ankles, knees, hips and back from damage.
