First impressions - MBT Clogs. These shoes are beautifully made from top shelf materials with very carefully thought out design elements. The fit seems to be perfect (if worn with medium cotton socks) and walking in them is a surprising delight. Very subtly, I first noticed the spinal alignment and after an hour or so, a tingling throughout my legs and lower body. Resting after an hours walk, I didn't feel tired as much as just wanted to walk some more. That surprised me. With all the damage which I've done to my legs and spine over the years, long bouts of walking were generally an exercise in poor circulation and often, downright pain. These don't do that. The newly supplied video on walking (?) which FootWear Etc. via MBT, is supplying, really makes sense out of the thought put in the basic concept and this shoe specifically. In essence, you use these shoes differently from other shoes. Rather than belabor this idea, I'd suggest watching it. The only semi negative observation I can make on these is due to the strap design. Understandably, this is not a heel strap to hold the shoe in place, but an achilles locator to keep the clogs on while going up and down stairs. That works - however, my set of clogs had one of the straps put on backwards … left to right according to the bias of the velcro which attaches to the fixture on the instep. I had to look at it a few times to see the assembly error, then put the strap on again and the fit across the heel was much more realistic and comfortable. Essentially, these shoes were spot on in fit, good looking, comfortable and reasonibly priced. I really like them and look forward to adding to my assortment of MBT's when my budget allows.

I guess these shoes are supposed to be for men, but since they were less than the similar women's style, I gave them a try. I am so glad I did! They are so comfortable, stylish, and adjustable. They have a unisex look that goes well with skinny pants or jeans and keep me comfy all day. I highly recommend them for anyone and everyone. My second pair (in black) are due to arrive on Tuesday.

2nd pair of MBT. I always liked and wear clogs, and was excited when I saw this new one. I wasn't sure which size to keep 9 or 9.5 but went with 9.5 and they feel fine. There was no break in needed and they are very comfortable, and stylish. The only thing that concerned me was the strap on back, which is removable. On the size 9, I felt the strap too much on the side of foot. I also didn't like the thought of a clog with a strap, but now I have no problems at all.

The shoe I've been looking for. An answer (along with stretching and foot yoga) to plantar fasciitis. Those expensive insoles at Foot Solutions help a lot too. But these shoes are amazing. Not good for running, and they take a little getting used to, but it's well worth having a pair.
