Mephisto Men's Match White Leather - As one of Mephisto's most popular walking shoes for men, the Match is designed to ensure maximum durability and breathability. The shoe features an advanced air jet streaming system which channels through its sides, bringing a fresh feeling to feet that have been in shoes all day. The insole is removable, so it can easily be taken out for regular cleaning.  The outside of the shoe is every bit as comfortable as the insole.  The upper is made from full grain leather.  It includes a full metal lace-up system with a convenient D-ring, as well as extra padding around the collar and tongue.  The caoutchouc rubber outsole provides plenty of traction for slippery surfaces, as well as an extra element of durability.  The shoe's cream color appears both laid-back and sophisticated at the same time, allowing it to be worn in a variety of settings.

      This is a heavy shoe due to solid construction and top of the line materials. I usually buy size 11 but had to return for 10.5 to get proper fit. also order the Shark sandle and had the same sizing issue.Footwar Etc. is an online company that I would highly recommend. great experience.

      With Mephisto's resoling program shoes are indestructable. Mephisto offfers several levels of reconditioning all the way from new shoelaces all to total rebuild including outer soles,shocks,inner soles, inner heel backs, insoles, dying where necessary and stitching where necessary. Pricey up front but all the "lives" of the Mephisto Match more than make up for it. Mephisto resoling program is very well run and accomodating to individual needs
