MBT shoes change the way you use your body so that your muscles, back, and joints work as a unit to compensate for the shoe’s natural instability. The unique multi-layered sole and Masai sensor help you to achieve improved posture and balance, strengthen and tone muscles, and reduce pressure on your joints as it emulates the feeling of walking on sand. The rolling motion of MBT shoes is greatly beneficial to those with plantar fasciitis and other types of foot problems.

MBT Tariki Walnut Leather Men's Shoe

  • Full grain leather upper, with buckle closures for a stylish yet individualized fit
  • Soft microfiber lining allows moisture to wick and helps keep your feet cool and dry
  • Dual density midsole is made with TPU and nylon mixed with glass fibers for extra firmness and durability
  • Multi-layered sole creates natural instability to emulate the feeling of walking on sand, and allows for better posture, toning properties, alleviation of back and foot pain, and increases shock absorption
  • Durable outsole provides traction

This MBT style features removable insoles so that you can add your own orthotic insoles. Although to fully benefit from the MBT technology the MBT shoes should be worn without orthotics.

If you have any questions you can find the answers in our MBT Shoes Frequently Asked Questions section.

I wore this shoe everyday for two weeks while traveling Italy and they were incredible. My feet are bad! I've had the arch rebuilt on one foot and have five screws holding it all together. It was to be pain free after the surgery but it didn't work out that way. The other foot is bad, ie, flat, and gives me a lot of pain. We do a great deal of walking during our travels and foot pain has always been my biggest problem, even with loading up on ibuprofen. Well, this trip wearing the MBT's was different. I never had any arch pain and didn't need to take pain killers. Really an incredible difference. My wife could believe it. I just ordered the black version of this shoe and plan to wear MBT's on all future trips.

    The right Idea

This is the right idea for a working shoe. Anyone working long hours can testify to a bad shoe. If your feet hurt after a days work, there's not much you can do until the ache goes away. I've worn the Nike, Adidas, etc. and the conclusion is those shoes are not built for 8 hours or more of standing. MBT's are the answer! Granted you have to get the right fit, give up some style, and re-learn how to walk 'correctly', (heel toe), but the ache is not there after a long shift. The down sides of this shoe are; its a bit heavy, and the stitching. After awhile the stitching started to come apart. But footwear etc. honored the warranty straight forward. If I find a better shoe I'll buy them, but until then MBTs are for me! PS; On my third pair!

These shoes were my first MBT's, along with a pair of MBT sandals I bought from this site about a year ago. These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes imaginable. I look forward to putting them on in the morning. I could barely walk when I bought them, due to plantar fascitis. This problem resolved within a couple months of wearing MBT's, after dealing with it for a year. These shoes are amazingly durable. After a year of wearing them to work every day, the soles and uppers look almost like the day I bought them, with one exception: the leather scuffs easily, making them look worn. Not a big deal if you don't mind shining shoes, but I prefer not to! I just bought 2 more pair of MBT's. By the way, the sandals I bought last year are also awesome.

This shoe is not for everyone. It is heavy, the laces become undone periodically, and the stitches have started to fray exposing the inner layers. Yet saying all that the shoe is a work horse. After 12 hour shifts, my pods are not as tried, compared to the sports shoes. These shoes are very durable, supportive, and therapeutic. MBTs alleviate knees and back issues, and corrects posture. Yes I will purchase in the future but will pick a different style.

I couldn't be happier with this shoe, or the price. First, MBTs are the first shoe to help ease the fatigue I felt in my feet from wearing regular shoes. I weigh 300+lbs and these shoes allow me to walk much further than before with a lot less strain on my back, and especially my knees. One the things that first stood out was the color of the leather, and the stitching. I was first saw black ones with the white stitching but found the lite tan sole a little strange. But in brown, the can be worn with slacks, khakis or jeans, making them pretty versatile. And everybody notices them, and even people who own MBTs didn't realize these MBTs as well. And as far as Footwear Etc, they have been absolutely great. My wife bought a pair of MBTs[...]

I bought these shoes for my husband who refused to believe how well a pair of MBT sneakers worked for me. I went from not being able to walk to completing a house move (18 hours on my feet) a week later. He had back surgery in Feb 09 (removal of fusion hardware) then a ruptured tibial tendon repair in June and just came out of a walking boot for an achallies tear a few months ago. The shoes are allowing him to walk fairly comfortably again. He is preaching to everyone he can about their benifits and I will buy him sneakers and a more dressy pair as soon as I can afford it. I wish I'd found this site before buying them from another site that was more expensive and charged shipping. I do not have any connection to this site or MBT. I just know these shoes can produce miracles if you have problems walking.

I work on my feet 10 hours a day, I have scoliosis and my posture is horrible, but after wearing these shoes the pain in my back seemed to disappear within days. I recently took a vacation and like most tourists, I walked everywhere. Usually, my knees would ache after so much walking, but my knees felt great since I wore my MBTs. My wife also commented that my posture has been greatly improved. I LOVE THESE SHOES... THEY COMPLETE ME

This is my second pair of Tariki's while this one was on sale, I paid full price for my first pair. Unlike the my other MBTs which some people find strange, I get nothing but complements how nice these shoes look, especially with my Docker D1 khaki jeans. I have worn MBTs for comfort over style, nice that these look great as well.
