The MBT Zuri is a traditional-styled oxford that transitions well from work to leisure. The unique multi-layered sole and Masai sensor emulates the feeling of walking on sand.

  • Full grain leather upper
  • Soft microfiber lining allows moisture to wick and helps keep your feet cool and dry
  • Dual density midsole is made with TPU and nylon mixed with glass fibers for extra firmness and durability
  • Multi-layered sole creates natural instability to emulate the feeling of walking on sand
  • Dressy rubber outsole
  • Removable insoles so that you can add your own orthotic insoles

I have a coworker that had bought MBT shoes, and I quizzed him on the shoe for comfort and arch support. He stated that MBT had excellent support and comfort. For him, his wife purchased them to help with aches and pains from growing old, not because of a certain health issue. I decided to try a pair and ended up with the Zuri, as it was on sale, and if it fit good, then I could wear it to work. I have always needed orthotics in my shoes, otherwise my feet, knees, hips hurt (flat feet). There are a few exceptions such as Birkenstock shoes, and now MBT shoes. I ordered a 42.3 (11) womens shoe. Depending on the shoe brand I usually buy 10.5 or 11, running shoes 11.5 for ortho's, medium or wide (shoe dependent). Birkenstocks, depending on the sandal or shoe are usually 41 or 42 regular. With MBT I have not need to wear any extra ortho's, and at the end of a 12-14 hour day my feet do not hurt and I do not need to put on other shoes asap to help with my arches etc. These shoes are medium width and are a little long - not much. I could possibly going down to size 42 and be okay. From the reviews and notes from the website it was indicated that they can run small. Unfortunately I do not have a local store that carries this model so I cannot say if a smaller size would be a better fit. I think they fit more like a 11.5 than an 11. I am very pleased with these shoes and have ordered another pair in a different style, and I hope I have the same experience with them. My parents and one of my brothers now wear them too, almost exclusively.
